Preventing the creation of Public folders Due to error holdforMigration
we have a new 2016 exchange server we are trying to create new public folders But we get the error HoldforMigration Does any one know how to remove the the error

In general, it sounds like your PF migration from an earlier version of Exchange was not completed. Please see this kb article: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2786607/no-active-public-folder-mailboxes-were-found-error-when-you-try-to-cre
