if the user1 logged in with legacydomain\User1 and enter his password , my question is here what should the user local profile(C:\Users\user1) call is it User1 or User.legacydomain.I guess that the domain user would be in C:\Users\user1 and the local user would be in C:\Users\user1.COMPUTERNAME
and if the same user1 try to log in with SecondDomain\User1 to same laptop what is the profile name folder call please C:\Users\user1.secondDomain. or User1 . i hope i explained good .I am not sure if I understand this one.
I have notice on different laptops :You can ask this question in a new thread...
when i go to C:\Users\ and i see about 10 users profile who logged in to this machine previously ( last month or last year the ) in the DATE Modified changed to today day or before . and they never logged in to this computer during my logging in to this laptop (only one user using this laptop ) . please help me with this one .
For instance, a domain user is named "user1". The path to the user folder should be C:\Users\user1.
However, someone creates a local user before named "user1". After the local user "user1" logs in, the path to his user folder will be C:\Users\user1 and the path to the domain user folder will be C:\Users\user1.domain.
I assume it might also happen when you copy C:\Users\user1 from an old system to a new system before a domain user "user1" logs in. Then the system sees C:\Users\user1, therefore creates C:\Users\user1.domain.
