Sending a distribution list anonymously

I used to do this all the time but between not doing it in a long time and the new contact groups in Outlook, I am a bit confused.

I am trying to use a distribution list and a contact to send an email to say, "RVP Group" and it shows that way but it sends copies to everyone on the distribution list without listing them.

If they reply all, will it show the emails?

So, if I have my own email address that I send mail from and I have a second email address. If I make a distribution list from these two emails with the test email The List as its name.

Then I can make another distribution name with my email and set Display As: The List.

Can I do a test run from my email or will it always say from Bert xxx

Guess what I am asking is what is the best way to test it.
You have your email address and alias
Create a distribution list/contact group and name it Undisclosed recipients or whatever you like as your alias, but you are the only person listed
Now create the real distribution list with your clients
To test it, send an email with Your Contact List in the To and BCC anybody, or even yourself
You are really better off using something like google groups or mailchimp/mandril or other third party smtp/mail service like sendgrid.  Sending to a list using bcc may hamper deliverability and it is not best practice although sometimes it is just easier.

Thanks Scott. You are always very helpful.
