Good PHP IDE

Hi,

Can anyone recommend a good PHP IDE? I am used to NetBeans, but it takes too many resources and I am not using any troubleshooting tools except I liked the outline.

Going with Chris on this one - having used many code editors - after switching to VS Code - not going back. I am not a big fan of MS - this time though they got it right. Lightweight, versatile, extensible and as Chris mentioned - you can build almost anything with it - one stop shop.

I'm using VSCode + XDebug (extension) to debug php these days. It makes my days easier
Hi,

I'm using Notepad++ & XDebug  (Wampserver) this is the lighter solution to my opinion.
I don't need more but if I do I would try VSCode

Most of bigger IDE take ressources or have learning curve.
But that always depend on your preferences, what you need, the hardware that you are using and the time that you have to learn a new IDE.
