Can't access NAS from Windows
Hello. I have a Synology NAS within my private home network. It has a local IP address. So far I was able to access it from my main Windows home PC by entering its IP in my browser with the right port number (eg: '192.168.1.25:5000' for DSM ).
A few days ago, a Windows Update was pushed to my main home PC. Since then I can no longer access DSM. I have tried to disable my firewall but no luck. I also tried to modify a few Windows security settings but again, no luck. Please note that I can still access DSM as usual from my iPad or from another home PC that did not receive the Windows Update...So the issue is really Windows installed on my main home PC. Thanks

Make sure SMBv1 is installed. It has been known to be removed in some updates.
