How to run the project in Eclipse IDE,I am provided with the WAR file.

I am provided with the WAR file ,I want to run the project in the eclipse IDE.

how to do it ,Please guide me.

It is not easy to run it from Eclipse, better run tomcat as standalone server and deploy the war there.

It could be done but why would you want to? There would be no source to look at other than config data

Just drop the file in the "webapps" folder and Tomcat will pick it up.
@gironis what to do next after putting the war file in webapps folder.

I want to see the java coding of the project build it and run it.

Please suggest how to do.
