I have MS Office 32 bit.  I am trying to build SSIS package that will run results to an .xlsx file.  However I can only successfully do this to an .xls version of excel.  I keep getting an error that says “the requested OLE DB provider Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.16.0 is not registered.” I have read downloading MS Access Database engine redistributable may help but if I already have MS Access, not sure it will.  thanks

I'm assuming you came across this support forum for downloading MS Access Database Engine Redistributable (If that doesn't work, I would suggest scrolling to the bottom of the link here and trying the "conversion recommendation."
