Backing up OneDrive
Hi,
I'm trying to backup my OneDrive using Windows Backup, but for some reason only my personal OneDrive is listed under the backup folder tree.
My personal OneDrive is attached to the Windows account that I use, and it is empty. My work OneDrive is the one I want to backup
The following is what I see under Windows backup
and this is under File Explorer

How could I disconnect
To back up your OneDrive for Business account will require that you use a program for that purpose.
Azure Backup can often meet this need.

you have to login to your Work account and sync to that PC, possibly a different account than your personal account
create a new account using your work credentials on your PC

OK, I see backing up OneDrive for Business may not be worth it for my tiny business.
A better question may be is, how can I check the retention period for deleted files?
Does it keep previous versions?
Finally, what if my local files get infected?

Hi,
This could be a long shot but it's worth a try.
You can map your work's Onedrive to a local drive letter as I descibed here and then use Windows backup to backup that particular drive. Technically that should work.
Cheers

One of my OneDrive's folders is set as a Mapped Drive, but only C:\ is listed in Windows Backup.
