Convert OVA to AMI
Is there some way to convert OVA to AMI without using amazon services?
I have some VM's that are migrating there and the requesting organization is asking if I can convert them to AMI before the move. My quick searches only show using Amazon service to the do the work.

AMI is an Amazon custom format so it will require the Amazon tools and other for amazon platform the resultant files are useless.

You are either migrating to AWS or you are not migrating to AWS.
