Intuitive project management software (for approx 100 tasks) that can produce a visual progress report eg timeline or GANTT chart
I'm interested in finding software for managing a project and summarising progress to the client. There will be about 100 tasks, split amongst multiple contractors. Commencement of some tasks is dependent on completion of others, so it would good to be able to generate a timeline or GANTT chart or similar (printable) as the project progresses.
I've had a try, with the project managers (there are 3 people managing the work), at using Asana, but the progress report it generated didn't include the timeline in a visual format, and didn't really seem to be meant to be printed.
I have used Microsoft Project (maybe 12 yrs ago or more) and think it might be over-complicated for this project, and it wasn't very intuitive to use. Not sure what it's like these days. It may be too expensive too.
