I would add to Daniel's comment - in today's day I do not think you should be settling for routinely corrupted records. &nbsp;If you are seeing this then it would be wise to get to the cause. &nbsp;What is your setup like?&nbsp; Do you have a separate front end and a back end?&nbsp; How many users?&nbsp; Where is your back end located?

Usually when i had this issue i would go to the table do a sorting Ascending and then Descending on a couple of fields and it would popup after a couple of tries.

Daniel.. .I hoping to find a more user-friendly solution that doesn't require coding knowledge. &nbsp;A solution that will allow the staff to find corrupt records when I'm not available... I need a "Find Corrupt Record button.". Maria.. I certainly agree with you... but as databases grow.. and the network expands.. this problem seems to be very difficult to prevent.. &nbsp;I suspect it is caused by someone exiting impolitely.. or doing something that causes an error... we have been having frequently network connection errors lately.. which may be the blame.. To answer your questions we have a split FE/BE LAN with about 10 users.. Access 365 on Win10 pro.. &nbsp;I have about 10 BE databases in Access... and three in SQL... All access backends are between .5GB and 1.3GB.&nbsp;&nbsp; John.. your solution certainly does work in many cases... especially when a memo field is the cause and we know where to look.. but often only a few of the fields are corrupt.. and finding which of the 200 fields to sort a million records by.. leaves me scratching my head. Here is the solution I used to find a corrupt record in my quotes table. &nbsp;Unfortunately, it took about four hours on a very fast computer, but it did find the record. &nbsp;I'm posting as it may help someone else with a similar problem. First I created a fresh database with a copy of the structure (no data) of my quotes table. &nbsp;I then linked to QuotesNew and append one record at a time until I hit an error. &nbsp;Running in debug mode.. I set a break at the error message, so I can print the value of quotenumber... which is my key field. &nbsp; The error I was receiving when I attempted compact was "Access does not have a message for this error". My code is not as sophisticated as the code Daniel provided... but it worked for me without making any changes to relationships or auto number fields.. once I found the bad quote I attempted to delete it and got a message: The search key was not found for any record. Sorry Daniel, I don't understand your response. The reason I am making the change is I want to call the report from a different form, so I will allow the form that opens to report to set the recordset... I posted this question because this is typical of the problems I am having in design view... and very easy to reproduce and test. &nbsp; The problem for me is much more important than this one form.. .I'm hoping this report will lead me to the solution.&nbsp; thanks

Please make sure you are having the users each use their own FE. &nbsp;This is necessary because of the behind the scenes tables that Access uses while processing to speed up queries etc. &nbsp;I typically implement this by putting the FE end applications on the users computers (and leaving only the BE on the LAN drive) or by having subdirectories each with the users login on the LAN drive and putting copies of the FE in their own directory. &nbsp;Connection issues CAN cause problems so good to get those addressed if possible! &nbsp;If the user is writing and looses connection it can easily cause corruption.
