CMOS got shut of while updating due to overheating

CMOS and update issue.

Would anyone know if your system turns off in the middle of an update, is it still easy to recovery from it.
or can it be fixed by myself easily..

The CMOS was updating while it shut down from overheating, it got turned on again and it worked
but the next day, it didnt start at all...
