VM vmdk and disk volumes W Srv 2008

hello,
i have a vm running in windows server 2008. it contains 3 virtual hdd ie C E F and 1T 50G 1T.
E was expanded to use volume from F ie fusionned together. Now E drive holds data.

I would like to know if the drives can be separated as before ie E and F with same size without data loss ? and if i add  additional size from datastore to vmdk files (ie E F ) will be there dataloss or any technical issues ?

cheers,

what do you mean 'fusioned together'?
can you post a screenshot of disk management?  it will make understanding the environment better

i mean from windows server F drive is deleted and recovered ( expanded) the volume in E.

which means if i delete vmdk disk belong to F drive. it will delete also vmdk file belong to E right ?
Depends what partitions are on which virtual disks

then additional disk space from datastore can be added to any one of these vmdk disk ( E or F ) to get more space ?

yes
increase the size in the disk properties, rescan in disk management or diskpart and extend the volume(s)

yes but make sure you increase in small increments and do not use all datastore space try to leave 20% free

@Andrew.  ‘not clear use virtual disk for each volume ‘
you mean install vmware converter in VM and create new VM ? if i do so the host name should be different, we loose folder file permission managed by security groups. New mapping shouldbe done with new hostname ..
When creating a VM, you should add a virtual disk, format it as C:

need another disk, add another virtual disk, and format it as D:

etc etc

having drive letters sharing a virtual machine disk is a bad idea. these are called partitions, and no longer recommended.
