Server-side vb or C# code to add a calendar item to Exchange
How can I perform the above.
The plan is to have a web form create the request and use Ajax to hit a ashx or classic asp page
with code would reach out to the on-site Exchange server and add the calendar item.

Calendar items belong to a mailbox. a website would normally just create a .ics file These have a specific format https://www.webdavsystem.com/server/creating_caldav_carddav/calendar_ics_file_structure/

Would this be doable from a web page using jQuery or other?
I would have thought this would go to exchange so that it is in the group calendar.
Any thoughts or am I in left field somewhere?

I was thinking CDO which I have used to automate sending an email and
was curious if that approach would work with inserting a calendar item on the exchange server
for the District I am working for.
