Assigning an active X combobox to an Excel cell so that it always matches the cells size.

In Excel. Is it possible to assign an active X combobox to a cell so that when that cell size is changed the combobox will change size to match?  I am using Excel 2007 at work but do alot of my work at home using Excel 2016.

Using ActiveX controls on a worksheet often leads to problems, but  this article of mine describes how to "float" (and resize) ActiveX controls over cells which avoids those problems.
