fonts from 1 word doc to the other are not the same
I have done some editing and formatting of a novel in word and I noticed that some of the letters are different uising a certain font when I start a new word doc and use the same font as the edited novel doc. See screenshots. The first is the formatted doc. The "g" is cut off on the bottom. When I open a new word doc and type the same thing using the same font and size, I get a normal "g" (2nd screenshot) Any ideas on what formating caused this?

Also look at all the spacings in the Paragraph section.

That worked. Thanks
Assuming this is happening in the same computer, here is what I would try:
1 - Try getting the line spacing to "Single" instead of a specific number of pt
2 - Check if there might be something else in front of that "g". Write something on the next line to see if the letter "g" changes. Click on "Show paragraph marks" to see if there mightr be something suspicious around that area.
