Get rid of 'Automatic update of links has been disabled' message in Excel

Hi All

I copied a worksheet containing data and a chart from one workbook into another and then manually removed the links to the other workbook (by selecting each series on the graph and removing the link
in the formula bar and double checking in the 'select data>edit dialogue for each series. This worked fine and the chart is displaying correctly in the new workbook.

However, when I opened it again this morning, I get the message "Automatic update of links has been disabled".

I have done a search using ctrl+F > workbook > formulas xl, which has produced no results, so I am assuming that there are no links to other workbooks that I might have missed.

If that is the case, how do I get rid of this message, which still appears every time I reopen the workbook?

I wouldn't mind if it was just for personal use, but this workbook will soon be deployed to a wider audience and I don't want this message appearing every time someone opens it.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Regards

Terry

Thank you for the suggestions. I used the second method and just used the 'break link' option. It seems to be working fine, so fingers crossed.
