Latest version of MS Edge, no scroll bar in My Favorites

A couple of weeks ago I did an MS update and received the latest version of Edge, and I immediately show a big problem.  When I click on My Favorites there is no scroll bar at all on the right of the drop down!  So you have use the scroll wheel on my mouse or click on the little tiny arrow at the bottom, same thing if I click a folder under My Favorites, no scroll bar?   If I go to Manage Favorites, then I get the scroll bars.  Three Questions:
1.) Did MS eliminate the scroll bar in Edge
2.) How do I get the scroll bars back
3.) If MS did eliminate it and I can't get it back, are there any 3rd party utilities that will add a scroll bar
Thanks,
Joe

Yes, that's a sometimes used interface design that replaces the scroll bars.  I've seen it a few other places and never cared for it, makes it hard to control the scrolling, etc.

I doubt there is any way to get it back in that drop down.

I'm sure you can find favorite / bookmark extension in the Chrome store (since those extensions can now be used in the "new" Edge) that display the favorites in a way you find more useful.
