Windows 7 Internal Troubleshooting Experts? - AppHangB1 - Windows is hanging. Help.

How can I locate and stop the problem causing this hang?

Open a command prompt and run chkdsk /f
Post back results.

C:\Users\bt>chkdsk /f
Access Denied as you do not have sufficient privileges.
You have to invoke this utility running in elevated mode.

I am the Admin!!!!  How come I can't run chkdsk/f?
