Xfinity won't accept our IMEI number !
"Unfortunately your phone is not compatible
Not all phones are made to work with Xfinity Mobile, but you can still join Xfinity
Mobile by trading in your current phone and buying a new one."

Has anyone ever seen the above msg ?  We are trying to switch phone carriers and the agent with Xfinity kept getting the above popup msg. We were told a number of reasons why this could happen: "Phone is the wrong technology",  "Phone has wrong antenna", Not compatible IMEI number.
These are "Galaxy 10+"  phones, 3 months old !

Attached is a pic of msg captured w/phone, if you blow it up and squint you can read it.  Xfinity Error Msg E.jpg

Don't know much about phones.
Any help is appreciated.

Where did you buy your S10+? What carrier was it on previously?

Your phone may still be carrier locked if you bought it through one.

Not absolutely sure without more information, but you may have to contact the party you bought your phone from to get them to unlock it.

Bought it from a T-Mobile Kiosk in Costco,  contracted stated the phone would be unlocked in 90 days and we could go to any carrier.  Trying to go to Xfinity to get it bundled w/our TV/Internet pkg.
Verizon accepts it, don't know why T-Mobile wont if they are on the same network ?
This has to be a config issue, not buying all the other stuff about different technology in different phones.  The phones manufactured over the last few years will work on all networks.

You're right, most phones sold in the US should work on all the networks.

I would call T-Mobile to make sure the phone is unlocked.

T-M keeps telling us that it is.  Wife just ordered new Sims from Verizon free w/$20 activation.
We will see if that works.   Not as simple as the sales guy made it sound.

What is the exact spec of your phone and how much you have paid for it?

ahh yes, your old sim card won't work between carriers.

It is not about old or new SIM cards.

Each carrier operator in USA has made deals with SAMSUNG so that SAMSUNG will provide a carrier-specific model of SAMSUNG Galaxy phones at a price with a substantial discount for each carrier but the drawback is that you cannot use the model for one carrier to another carrier without paying an unlock fee.

What is the exact model number for SAMSUNG S10+?

While at the Xfinity store the agent took the sim from her phone and inserted it into one of ours and it worked.
Like I typed above,  T-M keeps claiming the phone is unlocked.  New sims are on the way.

Keep you posted.

New sims arrived on Tue. all issues resolved now.

A miscellany is defined as a "collection of various pieces of writing by different authors", but it has come to mean something "Of items gathered or considered together of various types or from different sources" or "a collection or group composed of members or elements of different kinds". The word "miscellaneous" comes from the Latin word "miscere", meaning "to mix." You might have heard the expression "a mixed bag," which applies when you don't quite know what you're going to get. More commonly, a miscellaneous group is made up of an odd group of things that don't fit anywhere else.
