I need to add DHCP Option 43 vendor options to a Sonicwall NSA<br><br>In Windows DHCP server the option would look like this:<br>Id:ipphone.mitel.com;sw_tftp=172.21.0.20;call_srv=172.21.0.20;l2p=6;dscp=56<br><br>When I try to add this into the Sonicwall DHCP, I get an error: Invalid Option Value Format<br><br>The SW will not allow me to change the option type, and checking the option array doesn't yield any different result - same error message.<br><br>

When I try to add this into the Sonicwall DHCP, I get an error: Invalid Option Value Format
The SW will not allow me to change the option type, and checking the option array doesn't yield any different result - same error message.

The Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) is an auto configuration protocol used on IP networks and an extension of the Bootstrap Protocol. The implementation of DHCP relies on a DHCP server to hand out network configuration information to DHCP-capable clients that request an IP address (and other information required or useful in communicating with other devices on an IP network). In addition to an IP address, common configuration information served over DHCP includes a default gateway, subnet mask and DNS sever(s).

Voice over IP (VoIP) is a methodology and group of technologies for the delivery of voice communications and multimedia sessions over Internet Protocol (IP) networks, such as the Internet.
