How do I do a vlookup using data from a another spreadsheet.
In short I need to update data on the Master sheet with the new data on the new data sheet. Using a Vlookup and match or what ever is easier.
Example Column A <--Master sheet I need to lookup what ever is in this column in
Column B <-- and find it here on the Data sheet, and if it matches what ever is in columns C,D,E on the data sheet needs to be displayed in Columns B,C,D on the Master.

For your lookup range, just point to the other sheet, same as any other reference:
<sheetname>!<range>
If while building your formula, you switch sheets and select the range, it will build the reference for you.

That's the problem I need an example to follow. I used to do this but have not worked in Excel in a long time.

If we can do a look up and match that might be easier. See column labels below.

Sorry Tom the last sheet I did not see. I used a formula from an old workbook. I had two workbooks not one with 2 tabs. Sorry for the confusion.
