Audio Video things

Hi,

I am still confused with AV ( Audio Video) things.

Now, I am singing in a room. I want my voice  would be heard by everybody in the room loudly. What device should I use? (microphone, speaker or others?) This is for informal event (just for few people). Can somebody recommend which device should I buy (Including picture please).

Thanks,
tjie

it depends on the size of the room, and how much is " a few people"
and is the room ( and people) silently listening to you ?
in a small room nothing is needed - otherwise, you need an amplifiersystem with mike and speakers

There are many variations of answers, depending on your specific factors.

In addition to both comments above, also mention your budget.

If you have $10K to invest, you'll have many different options. For $100, you'll have much fewer options.

As you answer all questions above, also mention your budget.
Consideration: One other consideration is audio quality.

If you're serving small groups for short periods of time < 3hours, using a Carvin battery based PA (public address) system may be useful.

They're expensive + heavy + since they run on battery power, there's zero line noise hum.

So if you're doing room recording, producing content which pays your bills, having high quality audio (zero hum) sometimes is an absolute requirement.
And if you (and your microphone) are in the same room as the audience (and the speaker), you have to worry about ear splitting feedback.
