Does Zoom require email address of webinar participants
We are using Zoom for a webinar format for our congregations Sunday Services. All attendees have to specify an email to join the webinar.
Is that a configurable item in Zoom or is an email address ALWAYS required for a Webinar.
Thanks

Hello There ,
In this circumstance, we are welcoming newcomers & do not want to put roadblocks in their way.
Some might be shy & be put aback by the email requirement.

Yes, as i noted, they need just the meeting ID and password. No email.
For security reasons, it's good to enable Waiting Room but you don't have to.

You can configure that any user who knows the meeting ID and password can connect. In that case it's good to enable Waiting Room to control who can get in. Then all joined users appear in the Waiting Room and the host allows who can join the meeting.
