IE (windows 7) login artefacts.
As a general rule, if a user logs into a web page, which has a login form (username/password), would the corresponding record in IE 11 (Windows 7 PC) capture the username/password supplied? Or any other files associated with the browser/Windows? Or would this be completely specific to the website itself?
We are trying to determine if its possible to prove if a user visited website XYZ using the IE browser version 11, and logged into site via the sites login page using a certain username/password, would there be any evidence on the device, and if so where would the account details likely be captured?
