Troubleshooting Question

invoice printing differently then invoice on screen

In Microsoft Access I have built an invoicing for my business and it has worked fine. However, this morning I printed an invoice that, in the description field it printed the description, quantity, Retail, Tax & Total twice.  On the screen there is only one entry in the description field.  I checked the foreign table and it is only showing one entry associated with the master table.  It is only doing this with this one customer.  I do not understand this. Can someone help me out?

What is the recordsource of the query for the report?

Also, you should filter your form or its recordsource. There should be no need to browse 2951 invoices.

Do you actually have a report, based on this form, or are you actually attempting to print the form?

If you have a report, look at the query that the report (or the sub-report) is using.

Yes, I have a report based on a quarry and i am sending you the results. The quarry is getting the information from somewhere but I don't know where.

This will happen if you have two addresses for the customer's CustID in table Adresses from customers and don't filter for one address only.

Thanks for your help on this issue.  What I did was just deleted the entire customer's info in the address database, created a new record and it worked fine.  I am still learning access, so I am still working out the glitches in what I have built. When I get more advanced in knowledge with Access I want to re-build my system. Have a great day
