Troubleshooting Question

Outlook Indexing is resetting every Logoff

Hi All,

I have Citrix Serves servers ( 2016) working with User profile disks(FS LOgic) and I'm getting what I think is an issue.

When a user logs on for first time and configures its outlook profile all is indexed, OK.

But when the user logs off there's an event saying "Windows Search Service indexed data for user 'domain\user' successfully removed in response to user profile deletion.", so I assume that when the user logs off, tFSLOGIC Disk is unmounted and then the server eliminates their cached index due to a profile deletion.

Is there any option to Fixing this issue

Any response will be appreciate

Have you configured FSLogix to store the search database in the VHD? What do you have the RoamSearch value set to?

Are you using full Profile Containers or Office365 Containers?

If using Profile Containers, check you have the following Registry value set on the 2016 server - hklm\software\fslogix\profiles\RoamSearch to a DWORD value of 2

Not sure if it's helpful but a good read.
