we have a hybrid environment btw in house exchange server and Office 365. all our employees mailboxes are on office 365 but we use. our exchange server for routing internal mails like back jobs & alerting etc.

we have Exchange 2010 version 14.3.123.4 installed and i am trying to install Exchange 2010 SP3 kb4295699 but it keeps ending prematurely.
looking into the logs i am getting this error
Upgrade code: {A4A259AB-A77F-4039-832A-27B431DDFFEA}, Product language 1033 MSI (c) (64:B8) [07:52:34:406]: Full optimizations are not possible in the patch sequencer because new patch[es] had been added in the current transaction

You already have SP3 installed?
(that's what the 3 in 14.3 means) look for update rollup 29 (KB4536989)
