I have a question about managed routers. Does anyone know of a router that has integrated internet test?
I mam looking for a managed router with the ability to perform an integrated speed-test for WAN connectivity.

How about Mikrotik or Ubiquiti Edge Routers?
Just looked at Microtik Like most routers they do have a command interface next the web interface. (Cisco, HP, Zywall do the same, some others only allow a webinterface).
Only the CLI is severly restricted to what it accepts. And it doesn't allow for some speed test AFAICT.
Ubiquity is most probably also closed. Could find an references that it would not. Maybe someone else owning such a router can explain its capabilities to run arbitrary downloaded (no firmware) software better,

noci,
I have a Mikrotik Hex Router and a Ubiquiti Edge Router. I am going to see if IPerf3 can be used remotely to verify bandwidth on the WAN side.
