Windows 10 Pro - How to Turn off Auto-Updates

Dear Experts:
In Windows 7, I was able to selectively "get notified but NOT download updates".
And then I could download and install updates when I had the time to manually observe the process.
Where can I get this setting in Windows 10 Pro?

I do NOT want to pause updates until a certain date.  I want to stop them until I decide I want them.

You understand that this has been an ongoing criticism since Microsoft released Windows 10 over 5 years ago.  Microsoft is FORCING you to do updates and they don't really care that you object.

In that 5 year time frame, I've never heard one MVP or other expert discuss the use of this setting as an effective means to control it.  I'll be interested to see if it works (I've made the setting myself), however, the only relatively effective way I've heard of people blocking the automatic updates is to define a WSUS server in the policy (located in the same area) "Specify intranet Microsoft update service location".

Further, because Windows 10 is ever evolving, at some point, these tricks (after applying a future update) may be disabled.
