Windows 10 not updating..
Hi,
I reset my Windows 10 desktop pc last night, because I started having problems with a program locking up when started(suddenly), and the desktop shortcut being unresponsive. After the reset, I still had problems after a fresh install of the software. I was advised to install updates, but when I go to settings I see "pending updates", but I can't get them to download and install. How can I force install updates? Please help.

What it means: It means it's waiting for a specific condition to full fill. It can be because there is a previous update pending, or the computer is in Active Hours, or a restart is required. Check if there is another update pending, If yes, then install it first.
Furthermore you can run the Troubleshooter and see if it finds any issues:
