Excel max function
Hi,
In excel I know we can use max function but if the column data is concat of string and number then how can I use the max function ?
For example,
Column A, Column B, Column C
1Y10, 2Y10M, 10Y9M2D
Y stands for years, M stands for month and D stands for Days. Max of column A, B and C is 10Y9M2D.. can we use max function in such scenarios ?

It could work if you made a helper column (or in your case maybe a helper row) that evaluates the string into days in numericals. Use your MAX function on that row.
