Troubleshooting Question

Apple iPhone has disabled different power cables

Last Modified: 2020-10-27
Hi

my iPhone 11 has automatically disabled different power cables that are not original from Apple.
Do I now have to throw them (Powerpack cables, Adapters etc.) all?
Very annoying... :(

Thanks for any help.

@Eoin OSullivan
Were all these chargers working on the same iPhone 11 before and suddenly stopped working?
- Yes, strange for me too. But if I research we find lot of similar issues in the past.

Is the iPhone in a cover or case?
- I have this cover since 3 years

Have you tested these chargers on another iPhone or iPad device?
- Yes on other iPhones the cables are working

@serialband
Did you buy the really cheap unlicensed products or did you but the intermediately priced licensed products?
- It was not the cheapest one. The shop told me the cables are intermediately priced licensed products.
