I have to purchase a DVD player with a MPEG-2 decoder. &nbsp;What is MPEG-2 video? &nbsp;Is this common? A widespread standard? I have to purchase a DVD player with a MPEG-2 decoder.  What is MPEG-2 video?  Is this common? A widespread standard? A difficult format?
This is a government contract purchase and I don't want to buy the wrong thing.  AND, I'm not allowed to reach out in real time to ask the client what the MPEG-2 content is. Uggh.
