Technical Writing Question - How to Correctly refer to a Document Page versus referring to a PDF Page
I have to refer someone to page 184 in the PDF file.
However, the page number listed in the content is 47.
How do I phrase this?
"Please turn to PDF page 184, document page 47"
or
"Please turn to page 184, document image page 47"

I usually refer to the PDF page number as the documents I'm referencing may have multiple documents inside resulting in duplicate page numbers. My approach is to cite "page 184 of 293". If you don't have the duplicate page number issue, I prefer John's suggestion above over mine.
if your pdf has a Table of Contents you could use that instead
I prefer to use the word “see“ or “please see“ instead of “turn to.”
