How to install silently *.exe, *.msi?
Hello colleagues,
I'am looking for free or shareware (resonable price) tool who can install different types software (adobe reader, 7zip,notepad ++, MS office, Java, etc...) in silent mode.Without the intervention of a user/administrator. Just to skip install wizard, next, next, finish, you know :)
For two day I tested msiexec, Silent Install Builder 5, universal silent switch finder, outoit with partial success.
Thank you in advance.

even with msi there are some with older style switches : /passive /norestart /overwriteoem /nobackup
Also for /Passive /qn to work the command must have run with admin rights and elvated cmd etc.

You can do a lot with Ninite or Ninite Pro.
I use Ninite and love it (no agent required though there is one if you prefer; works best on domain networks without an agent). But I'm grandfathered in to the old pricing. Haven't used chocolatey. Otherwise, most MSIs can be deployed through group policy (TEST EACH FIRST on a TEST SYSTEM!). .exe based installers really depend on the installer. Consult the product's installation guide to see if a silent install option exists. If not, it may be difficult or impossible to silently install.
you could try chocolatey, it has thousands of packages available including the ones you mention, but you will have to install an agent on each PC
