We use MDaemon for email. Yesterday our email stopped. Our email server is a VM machine on a Hyper-v host. The host server had installed wsus patches and needed to reboot. I went ahead and rebooted the host, figuring that would resolve the issue. It took a while for the host to come back up. Once it did, I check the Host and the email server. Everything looks ok. Then tried to test email. We use it through a browser for the most part. So I open a browser and typed the website address,
mail.abbe-lib.org. It's doesn't load and I get the
ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED message. Tried a different browser, a different computer.. same message. I can log into the mail server. but can't load the page. Users who have it set up on their phones with an app can still get incoming mail and send emails outside of our email. However, if you try to email one of our accounts, you get a cannot send mail message That reads, the server rejected one of the recipient's addresses. The message has been placed in your outbox. I can also send it from inside my ServiceDesk software as long as it is to an outside address.
Any input would be helpful.

DJ
