How can I connect my Bose Soundlink Color II Bluetooth Speaker to my Windows 10 laptop?

Hello and Good Afternoon Everyone,

I have a Bose SoundLink Color II Bluetooth speaker which I need to connect to my laptop running Windows 10.  Basically, I get a blinking blue light on the speaker with a verbal message indicating Ready To Connect and a power button blinking an amber color because I am charging it out of the box. Bluetooth within Windows 10 is turned on with the Bose SoundLink Color II  showing within the Bluetooth devices along with a message indicating Paired.  Seeing that the laptop is paired with the Bluetooth speaker, I am wondering why the speaker still wants to be connected.  Should being paired mean being connected?  Also, does the blinking amber power light indicate the need for the battery to be charged?  What can I expect from the power light when the battery is fully charged?  Will it be a steady blue or white light?  Unfortunately, none of this information is revealed with the documentation that came with this speaker.

In closing, if someone could walk me through some troubleshooting steps in resolving the need for the Bose SoundLink Color II Bluetooth speaker to connect with my Windows 10 laptop, it will be greatly appreciated.

          Thank you

           George

Hi William and Ganesh,

Thank you so very much for addressing my question.  Using the helpful YouTube link given by William, I was able to quickly resolve the issue which was tricky.  While Bluetooth was enabled within Windows 10 and there was an entry to the Bose Soundlink Color II Bluetooth speaker, the speaker still was not connecting with the laptop eventhough it was shown as being paired by the Windows 10 operating system.  Nevertheless, when I got the message again by the speaker indicating that it is ready to connect, I simply selected Add A Device within the area of Hardware and Sound within the Windows 10 Control Panel.  The ID of the speaker appeared in a new window and I selected Next.  From there, I got a nice message from the speaker indicating that it successfully connected to my laptop.

Thanks again for the great help :-)
