Spiceworks no longer has a desktop version - what replacement can be suggested
Spiceworks no longer provides an on prem install onto a Windows desktop, such as they did in the past.
Is there somewhere from a legit repository that I can download this?
Any replacements that can be suggested?

Help Desk and Inventory software. Oodo is actually pricy.
Another view... If you are satisfied with Spiceworks services, why do you need to change the product? I don't see a point here. Just because the interface changed? Lots of products are migrating from desktop apps to a web interface or cloud... I can see only benefits here. Won't you consider it?

for me i am using https://www.odoo.com/ , it is amazing software ( CRM , ERP , project management ..etc) and it is open source
