Active Directory error
Hello, i have the single Active directory server (WS2012R2), after installing update kb4586845, i have error when i try open dsa.msci get error: The directory schema is not accessible because an invalid directory pathname was passed. After i click OK, show the next error: Data from active directory users and computers is not available from domain controller because: The user name or password is incorrect. DCDIAG return: Ldap search capability attribute search failed on server DC01, return value = 16
Check if in the hosts file an invalid IP address for the domain controller itself is defined.

Thanks, i think, my hosts file is correct:
# Copyright (c) 1993-2009 Microsoft Corp.

# This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.
#
# This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each
# entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should
# be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name.
# The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one
# space.
#
# Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual
# lines or following the machine name denoted by a '#' symbol.
#
# For example:
#
# 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server
# 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host
# localhost name resolution is handled within DNS itself.
# 127.0.0.1 localhost
# ::1 localhost

Better you remove this KB and check again. If you have option to open MS case, open it. As it is a recent update from MS, i doubt there will be any solution available. Better not to push updates on servers, whenever they are released. For my clients, i keep them on 3 month old updates. As MS is known for buggy updates.
