Remove Unwanted Photo Links

I have a potential client who wants me to help him remove links to photos of his wife from the web. The issue is, he had a photographer who had the photos on the photographers web site. When people searched Google with her name they found the photos. He asked the photographer to remove the photos, which happened, but doing a search on her name still get the photos.

Is there a way to eliminate that connection?

I can try to get that. He is going to send me his wife's name. I will ask him the place they were posted.

Thanks,

Richard

For every search engine, you have to go through the removal steps. For Google it's:

https://developers.google.com/search/docs/guides/advanced/remove-information?hl=en&visit_id=637412582642400992-3923921570&rd=1

but remember, if something drops into internet, it is very difficult to remove it :)
there are websites that keeps tracks of site changes

wayback Machine is one of them
https://web.archive.org
It is not clear to me what web.archive.org is or does.
Way Back Machine (archive.org) - content that never dies... well... unless you add a meta tag to all your pages to deindex the page.

If the site is gone, then you'll never be able to unindex the archive.org residue.

As for removing images off the Web, once an image has been published, it's unlikely it can ever be completely deleted.

You might make some headway if you have many hours of time + massive cash to invest to cover the many hours of time.
It is not clear to me what web.archive.org is or does

it shows snapshots of indexed pages...
even if the site is changed, or deleted or even domain is removed, you can reach the site from this site's archives...
Hainkurt, I fail to see where this leads. From the other two expert comments, basically impossible or VERY difficult.
it is very very difficult to completely wipe it out...

even governments are trying to delete some contents from internet,
but we can dig it and find it somehow :)

also, somebody might have copied these pictures to his pc and later may post on some random sites again...
and if it is on web archive site, not sure if it is even possible to remove from there...

but to hide it from regular users, you can use each search engine's removal tool
but I guess you should be the owner of the site, o/w you can not request any removal...
unless you have a court order to remove that content :)

Do search on rebekah triebsch. Google.

Thanks,

Richard
