Using Azure to create a Windows 10 VM?
Hi, I need a temporary development .NET environment, and have a shiny new $200 credit on Azure.
I will use install the free version of Visual Studio and connect that to my Azure account, on whatever Azure Windows VM I create.
I will then create a Repo for a .NET Framework web application which I need to host on Azure. I plan to experiment with various CI/CD tools and open sourced plug-ins into Azure, and could use some advice on my hosting options which give me the most integration flexibility.
If I used Windows Server, I could install Visual Studio and also host my website there. Is this equally true if I use Windows 10?
I guess the best version for me is the one which costs the least, for once my $200 or 30-days are past.
Your advice is welcome.
Thanks
