distribution list not working in outlook 365
I created (months ago) a distrubution list email called mailto:subquotes@123.com and added 5 email addresses for the email to distrubute to. The subquotes primary email address is: mailto:subquotes_recipients@123.com
Today, all email sent to mailto:subquotes@123.com reaches the email address and the recipients but says this in the email: "Delivery has failed to these recipients or groups:
subquotes@123.com
Your message wasn't delivered because the recipient's email provider rejected it."
I sent from a gmail account and I received the above message. Any ideas how to fix this? I have not changed anything on this distrubution list since it was created.

No email can reach the subquotes email address. Only from the same email domain

It is checked on senders inside and outside. NO EMAIL can get to this email address from outside the organization. Has to be on my side. Any ideas to try?

I get the message on each email. I cannot change the setting ot on it says it is automatic system controlled an when I choose to save for ON it goes back to auto system controlled. Is this the issue?

Spoke too soon. I was able to chance it to ON forward but now I have a new issue. I sent to the subquotes email address with my yahoo account and after 5 minutes it showed up and did not say undeliverable but I cannot get an email to receive using my gmail account. Any ideas?
Is there anyway I can flip a switch to allow this email address to work even if it is a non secure method just to get this to work? This email address is the most important email in the company as it receives all our constrution quotes.

OK. After chaning it to ON rather than automatic system control it seems like it is working. I had a couple companies email the subquotes email and they came through. Only odd thing is I can't get my personal gmail account to send to it.

Another issue. One of the recipeints of the subqoutes email is getting emails going right into his deleted items. I am logged into the subquotes email at outlook.com and they are not going into deleted items for me. Any reason for this?
That can be a local rule on his client

Must have been a lag or something. After turning it to on for forwarding it now is working.
Other than that, your only option is to contact the recipient, as the message seems to have been rejected by their system and O365 cannot give you an exact reason why.
