Utilize C13 to C19 or C13 Cabling with our Equipment
Hello!
We are working to move our current server room setup from an on premises setup to a CoLo setup. We currently use four 120V/20A circuits on two metered PDUs, but will be moving to a pair or 208V/30A circuits on two PDUs.
We use C13 to 5-15P cords on our current systems. We will probably grab two 208V/30A PDUs, and they favor C19 and C13 plugs on the PDU side. I wanted to know: Is it safe to just switch to C13 to C19 or C13 to C13 cables on our equipment and call it good?
My assumption is that the PDU does not care how much power draw comes over the cable, it just allows for greater power draw if needed.
