Connecting to a VM switch

I have a VM configured with 3 nic cards version 6.7.  I have 3 vswitches that I need to use.  However I can't get the nic to see my 10.10.10 switch: It only see the VM network.  How can I change this?

Select the virtual machine portgroup next to the network interface in the VM.

Did you create a new virtual machine portgroup on this new vSwitch ?

Currently all nics in the VM are connected to VM Network, use the drop down to select another and correct virtual machine portgroup.

that's the problem the drop down isn't showing that network. Basically I need to attach a nic card to a server with  other nic and I can't.  The VM isn't seeing the 10.10.10 networking and it's there and doesn't make sense.
can you show a screenshot of your vSwitch showing the port groups?
sounds like something isn't configured properly
You must CREATE a virtual machine portgroup on that new vSwitch.

Depending upon how you create the vSwitch, if you just create a blank vSwitch and connected it to uplinks, you've still got 5 seconds more configuration to do.
here are 6 photos. I'm pretty sure this is correct and I've checked the vlan for the nic that's correct and I can ping the nic card  Is it possible to move one of the mac address that are attached to the physical adapter to the other physical adapter?

one last thing. I have 2 VMs on that ESXI box.  One is VCenter and the other is Forcepoint firewall which isn't set up yet.  IF I export them both as OVF files and redo the ESXI as a last resort you think I add back the 2 VMS without have to reinstall everything?
Okay, not looked at the photos, but it's not to do with VLAN, it's not appearing.
Okay, you have created a VMKERNEL PORTGROUP, not a virtual machine portgroup.

There is no need to create a VMKernel Portgroup unless you need to use iSCSI, NAS, Management Network on this LAN or vSwitch.

There is often confusion between VMware Admins, that a portgroup needs an IP Address, it does not need an IP Address, if you do not need a VMKernel Portgroup.

Create a Virtual Machine Portgroup on the vSwitch, which is what I had mentioned in my first post.

One other tip, I noticed you have used spaces in you labels, it's often much easier to use "_" underscores or "-" not spaces, it's then much easier to perform scripted and powercli tasks without spaces in labels.

Edit the vSwitch and Add a Virtual Machine Portgroup, traffic just flows through the virtual switch, like a physical switch, no need to add an IP Address on the PORT.
I use ISCSI for my NAS that's how it's connected.
well you will need a virtual machine portgroup for VM traffic creating on that vswitch
I have one that's 10.10.10.  It's there but the ESXI isn't seeing it.  I can't even create a new VM to see that switch.  I think there's a problem with the ESXI install.  I've done this a few times and I've never had this problem where I can't attach a nic to a port group or a vswitch.
if you look at 2.PNG VM 10.10.10 is a VMKERNEL PORTGROUP.

It will not appear for selection because it's NOT a virtual machine portgroup.

Create and Add a virtual machine portgroup, Virtual Machine Portgroups DO NOT HAVE IP ADDRESSESS ASSIGNED TO THEM.

You said this was for your iSCSI!

But you also have VMKernel SCSI I and SCSI II <---- what are these for ?
That's what I meant I have ISCSI i and ii.. Let me check this out. Thanks
I think you may have ticked the wrong button when you created VM 10.10.10.

If you didn't mean to run iSCSI over that network delete it!

re-create a virtual machine portgroup.
I'm sorry I'm truly confused.  I've assigned the IP to the following as I've done on every single VM I've built.  I basically assign the IP to the card.  This isn't VCenter it's just a standalone ESXI
vmk3.PNG
You don't assign an IP Address to a network interface (or VMKernel Portgroup) UNLESS you need ESXi to use that IP Address.

It's got nothing to do with vCenter Server.

A VMKernel Portgroup is a special interface which the HOST uses to communicate with services, like Management Network, iSCSI, NFS, vMotion, HA, vSAN, FT etc

VMs DO NOT use VMKernel Portgroups.

A virtual switch passes through all the traffic which the uplinks (physical network interfaces are connected to).

Add a virtual machine portgroup, and traffic will pass through physical host nics (uplinks) via the vSwitch to the VM.

To create a virtual machine port group, do the following:-

1. Select Networking.

2. Add port group

3. Select the vSwitch

4. Specify a name

OK the problem isn't that I don't understand how to create the switches and uplinks to the switch.  I've done that, however, upon install the OVA file the 10.10.side disappears and I can't use it.  Before I even install the OVA file I've created the 2 switches one with the 10.75 and the other with the 10.10.  The OVA file creates 4 virtual nics.  I only have 2 physical Nics in the server.  If I try to delete the v-Nics, and leave only 2,I still can't use the 10.10. because it's gone; it disappears from the drop down menu and it's not found.  The only way I got it back is to redo the ESXI server over and once I installed the OVA file the 10.10 disappeared again.  This is very strange.  This is a forcepoint applicance it has 4 virtual interfaces and I'm wondering if this could be my issue.  Perhaps they can only go over one subnet?  I have not way to change this.
You are going to have to create screenshots, of what you've created for me to check.

I'm not really following your post.

You will need a minimum of 1 uplink (physical nic in host) per vSwitch, ideally 2, to prevent a single point of failure
OK I have a few meetings but I'll get it to you tomorrow.
Maybe this will help.  I'm loading the OVA file and I can't use the pull down menu to point to the network I want it on.  then once it's installed I can't do anything.  I think it's the OVA file.

well that is definately thre OVA, if you cannot select anything!

is the OVA publicly available for download?
I don't think so.  I have it on my hard drive. And as far as I know I can't do anything to this ova file.
I've seen this with corrupt OVA, or Importing OVA

But where did the OVA derive from?
The company Forcepoint.  I'm going back and forth with tech support now because I'm 100% sure it's the OVA file.
