hi, I am consoliderating the task before and after SQL server 2016 standard FCI from SP1 to SP2 Cu15 our SQL server 2016 FCI has transaction replication and log shipping setup to a BI SQL server 2016 FCI too, so what is the way to: 1) backup the replication configuration so that when SP2 upgrade kills the replication we can restore it back ASAP. but how to backup the replication configuration other than recreate the replication? 2) backup the log shipping configuration so that when SP2 upgrade kills the log &nbsp;shipping we can restore it back ASAP. but how to backup the log shipping configuration other than recreate the log shipping? 3) we will then backup all system and user DB. 4) start the upgrade/patching on passive nodes of the FCI. . . after the upgrade we will 1) flush the plan cache anything else we should care before starting ? e.g. how to backup resource DB? <a href="https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/relational-databases/databases/resource-database?redirectedfrom=MSDN&amp;view=sql-server-2016" rel="ugc">https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/relational-databases/databases/resource-database?redirectedfrom=MSDN&amp;view=sql-server-2016</a>

I am consoliderating the task before and after SQL server 2016 standard FCI from SP1 to SP2 Cu15
our SQL server 2016 FCI has transaction replication and log shipping setup to a BI SQL server 2016 FCI too, so what is the way to:
1) backup the replication configuration so that when SP2 upgrade kills the replication we can restore it back ASAP. but how to backup the replication configuration other than recreate the replication?
2) backup the log shipping configuration so that when
