Troubleshooting Question

Dell XPS Laptop won't power on

Last Modified: 2020-12-09
We have an end user with a Dell XPS that had an attempted repair of the hinges (long story).  After the repair of the hinges the laptop no longer powers on.  The power LED does react when the power brick is plugged in.  It comes on, then quickly turns off, then comes back on solid again.

We have tried removing the battery, holding the power button for 30 seconds, and a host of other potential fixes.  Does anyone else have any other recommendations?  I realize the likely answer is "something was damaged during the repair of the hinges" but if there is anything else clever I haven't tried?  Appreciate it!
