Microsoft Surface 3 Laptop Wireless Issue.
Microsoft Surface 3 Laptop.
this machine in about a month old.
the network adaptor keeps disappearing pretty much. the laptop cannot find any wireless networks. We restart and it will not fix it... then all of a sudden it comes back online then will work all day.
then again a day or 2 later same thing again you start it up and it cannot find any networks.
then after restarting a few times the wireless network comes up and works for the day.
I have checked all Windows updates are installed and also run the Intel update checker and installed the latest recommended Intel update for the wireless adaptor.
anyone experienced this issue?
is It a hardware or a software fault. That's the thing that gets me. once it works, finds the wireless network and connects it will work for the rest of the day.

I have checked all Windows updates are installed and also run the Intel update checker and installed the latest recommended Intel update for the wireless adaptor.This might be both a software or hardware problem. Since you already did the above, I would try this - resetting the network settings (Settings -> Network and Internet -> Status -> Network reset) and switching from 2,4GHz to 5GHz (Device Manager -> Properties of the wireless card -> Advanced tab -> find Prefered Band or something like that and switch to 5GHz). If this won't help, I would use the warranty. This is what I recommend.

I have had the following feedback from my client:
The first time booting up for the day never seems to connect, though I seem to have found a pretty consistent solution to the issues.
Switching the computer to aeroplane mode and then restarting with the computer in aeroplane mode seems to allow Wi-Fi to be found. (Has worked for the last 2 days so not 100% this will continue)
Very strange.
Once it is connected, yes it will stay connected while the computer is on, if the computer sleeps it will usually disconnect and require a restart.
Any feedback on whether you think this is still hardware or software would be appreciated.
i have however also contacted my wholesaler to ask how they want me to proceed.

michael - that is what i suggested in my first post :
otherwise - have a warranty replacement !

If Bluetooth also not working this is a hardware issue.
You can chat with Microsoft support and see if it is under warranty or no.
