If you stop a mcafee service (ow someone did) then windows defender takes its place, this migth have been because an update, and pending restart.

Yes McAfee was running at time of scan.&nbsp; No pending reboots / updates were affecting this.

I just did another scan of the machines in question, not sure what happened but it appears the issue resolved itself.<br><br>thanks all for the comments.

We have McAfee VSE deployed to all of our workstations, on our most recent scan we are getting the below hit on only about 5 machines.
 Why are we getting this at all?  Doesn't McAfee effectively disable Windows Anti-Virus?  I've tried to update the definitions with no luck, we are on a disconnected network so everything must be done offline.  Not sure how to get rid of the finding?
