Brand new wireless printer, HP DJ 2755 keeps going offline on Win10
Installed brand new HP DJ2755 on Win10 laptop; connected to wireless network, no problem, but next day it shows offline. only fix is to uninstall and reinstall, but of course that's not sustainable fix.
Does the printer have a static IP address? Can you ping it when it's offline?

will reserve Static IP in router tomorrow. thanks a lot!
I have seen this occur with some printers and have found it's usually a SNMP issue.
Possible causes include:
SNMP configuration
Windows 10 / driver issues
SNMP traffic being blocked on/by network
Unless you need it, disabling SNMP on the printer (and optionally in the PC's printer profile for the printer) will usually resolve the issue

Check HP's Site for the latest Drivers. Sometimes Drivers downloaded automatically aren't the latest available.
There's also a Firmware dated September 1st: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-deskjet-2700-all-in-one-printer-series/29378157/model/29378213
did you reboot the laptop?

Latest drivers, firmware and reboot done. poor WiFi signal in that part of house. am installing eeros mesh ina few weeks
Yep, that's why ping is a good test. If the printer works well closer to the WiFi source, it could be WiFi issue. But sometimes the latest printer drivers will help make the printer wireless hardware work better.
Also, if you have the printer located down low to the floor, raising it a bit might help.
